Restore the ancient meanings of Good and Evil and change your life and world

Two of the most powerful words in the history of humans are “good” and “evil.” We hear them from infancy to death.

● People are punished when they do evil things and rewarded when they do good things.

● Leaders of nations at war with each other often justify the war and the loss of the lives of their warriors by declaring their cause as “fighting an evil enemy.”

In the last two World Wars – the leaders of America, Britain, France and Germany did that – and a vast majority of the citizens of the nations on opposite sides were Christians.

The English words “good” and “evil” are very subjective and may be used to justify about anything. In the ancient wisdom text we use at the TOV Center, which is written in Hebrew, the words are TOV (good) and RAH (evil). They are used to judge (measure) the actions of God and humans. Below are their contextual meanings:

TOV (good) – actions that protect and preserve lives, make lives more functional and increase the quality of life.

RAH (evil) – actions that destroy and threaten lives, make lives less functional and decrease the quality of lives.

The Creator created the Heavens, the Earth and all their hosts through seven acts of “TOV.” Adam did one act of RAH -- when he ate from the only tree in Garden in Eden that he was forbidden to eat – the fruit of the Tree of TOV and RAH. The Creator’s acts of TOV protected life, Adam’s act of RAH introduced death into the creation.

● The Creator’s seven acts of TOV created the things that are required for humans to survive and thrive – air, water, food, shelter, etc.

● Adam’s one act of RAH made humans mortals who would die at some point in the future, the first of which would be the second human ever born – his son Abel.

Restore the ancient meanings of “good” and “evil” to those words and when you hear someone using them to justify their actions, the actions of an organization or business, or the actions of a nation-- ask this question – What they want to do may be “good,” but is it “TOV”?          Lives 1st

Distinguishing Between The Kingdom of Elohim & Cosmic Wars

A cosmic war is like a ritual drama in which participants act out on earth a battle they believe is actually taking place in the heavens. It is, in other words, both a real, physical struggle in this world and an imagined, moral encounter in the world beyond. The conflict may be real and the carnage material, but the war itself is being waged on a spiritual plane; we humans are merely actors in a divine script written by God. A cosmic war partitions the world into black and white, good and evil, us and them . Continue reading at - https://mailchi.mp/31669ceec901/distinguishing-between-the-kingdom-of-elohim-cosmic-wars

What is The Image of God?

The first clue the ancient text provides about this mysterious image is found in two words of Genesis 1:2 – “ RUACH ELOHIYM .” RUACH is defined as breath, wind or spirit; ELOHIYM is the word translated God . They are traditionally translated as “ Spirit of God .” But, since they are in a “ construct state, ” this means they are so closely united that “ together they constitute one compound idea .” 1 It is important to know where the RUACH ELOHIYM is located in the account – “ It was hovering above the surface of the waters .” The ancient text makes it clear that everything created has its own specific place and that requires a map. Words you take for granted mean very different things in this account, beginning with “ Earth .” Everything Has a Place 1. Humans live on the dry thing named “Earth.” 2. Water creatures live in the Seas. 3. Winged creatures fly beneath the Heavens. 4. Sun, moon and stars are set in the Heavens. 5. Nothing is said about the w...

Will science do a better job than religions?

Science tells us the following things about humans: 1. Humans have basic physical requirements that must be met in order to survive. 2. Humans are totally dependent on other humans from conception to death. 3. Without cooperation or power relationships required for human survival will not exist.   4. Relationships based on cooperation have better outcomes than those based on power. The first stories in the book of Genesis reveal the same ideas. Do you think science will do a better job than religions in getting humans to understand and apply them to their lives? Or do you think religions can change and do a better job? _____________________________________________________________ Did you find this information helpful?
